I've been out of the loop recently as we have taken a trip to Georgia to visit mom and dad and my sister Cindy in Georgia.
Today is Cindy's birthday! She's....well let's just say she's a littler older than me. Tee Hee! She is so special. As I've mentioned in my bio she has been my inspiration for blogging and all things Vintage. What I haven't mentioned is that she's the coolest sister anyone could ask for. If God would have allowed me to pick a sister it would be Cindy. She's gone through "thick and very thin" with me.
In 2002, I was in the hospital for 20 days and off food and water for over 2 months with a psuedo cyst on my pancreas. She was a life line to me...we live 950 miles apart and she would stay on the phone with me for hours entertaining me with her humor and most of all her love. There is very little we don't know about one another.
When we can be ourselves with our friends, it takes the relationship to another level. We've had to say "I'm sorry to each other several....times but, we forgive, forget and look forward to embracing the times we can share together.
To all sisters and friends...consider yourself HUGGED today!
I have been sitting here with tears streaming down my face, as I've read this post. I feel like I have the "Best" sister in the whole world! It's so much fun to share things with her, especially Blogs. We call each other up and tell how we have found a few more new Blogs, that we think the other will like. Thank you, My Sweet, Sister....for all the sweet, kind words. Praise You, Lord for giving me a beautiful sister AND for two wonderful parents!! Love You All!!
